what the! these people are law breaking liars.they have been lieing to me since 2009.they do not follow proper loan modification guidelines.they refuse to include property taxes and insurance in the qualifying math for % of cost and income figures to get help for freddie mac loans. first they told me there was no programs in place for help.then they told me after 4 months of phone calls and faxing pay stubs i did not qualify.then they told me they do not participate in harp.they tag home inspection fees every month onto my mtg.they have falsley tagged almost 2k onto my loan.my home is 50% underwater and i am in chapter 13 bkrptcy with 30 months to go on trustee pymts.i will see them in court before they see another dime from me! they will get to explain to a judge their business practices and ethics. i was assigned to them when my original lender was shut down. i thought it was strange when i first called them that the automated attendent asked me to press 2 for the cash for gold hotline, can you believe that!i complained to the state regulatory commission and received a letter stating they could find no problems with the loan based on the info ocwen sent them!imagine that.dont waste your time trying to negotiate with india it is a stall tactic.stop paying and get an atty at 60 days past due.they wont address it any other way.good luck!

Send them a QWR letter and demand validation of the debt. If they send you copies of the original "loan" and it doesn't add up to the same thing you are paying on your "loan" on then they haven't validated the debt.
For instance, Ocwen sent me the a copy of the original "note" i signed, which was way before Ocwen was ever involved in the transaction to "validate" the debt . This copy this did not reflect the "modified" contract that has been in place on my "loan". So they did not validate the debt! They dont have the modified contract and were not a party to the original contract at all! so that is NOT VALIDATION.
Furthermore, upon some discovery by me, it turns out they were never assigned the legal right to collect on the "loan" in the first place (check all county clerk recorders office filed docs with the docs they will give you in response to your QWR letter) so there is another kick in the pants where they cannot validate the debt. Check you assignments and indorsement on the note itself. It will read "pay to the order of" and probably be blank. the last entity that had the note "payed to the order of" is the actual , and legal noteholder until the real "wetink" copy of the note shows up (which will probably be never! )
Read FDCPA laws and RESPA laws concerning this! They cannot continue to collect a debt they cant validate. At some point you'll have to take them to court because these crooks will keep trying to get money from you even though they are committing fraud by trying to collect a debt they cant prove they have the right to.
FDCPA violations are 1,000 per occurrence! so you can rack up some fines against these guys real quick if they dont comply, and they wont!
