Office Max and Prime Peripherals rebate ripoff

Several weeks ago I read a report about Office Max ripping people off with their rebate offers. Whichever state it was in, the state attorney general became involved and helped the customers get the rebate money they were entitled to. Office Max claimed that most of the people did not fill out the rebate forms properly and did not include the proper information such as the bar code area of the box, etc. The state attorneys office that investigated the problems said that Office Max was making the method to get rebates too cumbersome and confusing to most of the customers.



My suggestion is to contact the Ohio Attorney General about the rip offs.



I am currently waiting on rebates from purchases made over the Thanksgiving holiday. Its been almost 9 weeks and the only rebate I received was $10 from the manufacturer. I am still waiting for $65 from Office Max
