Old Republic Home Protection Old Republic Home Insurance Failed to properly install a stove and oven and left the appliance in a dangerous location.

Brief Summary: I've been a loyal customer for years and, when I needed them most, they failed. I needed my stove/oven range replaced. They could not match the model or even come close to the price but we reluctantly agreed to the replacement model over the phone. The range was selected by Old Republic Home Protection -- I HAD NO CHOICES! NOTHING WAS IN WRITING.

They delivered the stove and the installers were unable to fit the appliance in the cutout within the cabinets. I was told this happens because -- IF I READ THE FINE PRINT -- the installers do not measure. I could have paid extra for a plan where an installer would measure before attempting an installation [apparently, it is unreasonable to expect someone make a basic attempt to do their job properly] but the plan I purchased would not make that basic accomodation. It would be comical if it wasn't downright criminally negligent! 

My propane gas stove is sitting in the middle of my kitchen because it is 1.5" inches to large width to fit within the counter and cabinet cutout. Seeing as how they replaced my $600 stove with a $300 stove, you would think they could easily reedy the situation by having the granite counter trimmed properly to fit the range THEY SELECTED! Apparently, they make to much money to care about their customers. They can afford to NOT care. If I could post pics of my range in the middle of the kitchen, in a potentially fatally dangerous location, I would... I'll find a way... stay tuned.
