Old Republic warranty ins. co. cannot fix furnace for 13 days in below freezing weather cheapest way for them to resolve problem and im freezing San Ramon California

furnace went out on 1-12-07. the parts i need cannot be available until 1-24-07 or after. the furnace is 11 years old. old republic wants me to freeze for 13 days to save them
money .if the parts or unavailable they should put in a new furnace. the cost of fixing the old one i am told will be over $1400.oo. they are saving money and im cold, i paid them over $300.00 for the coverage.

But what you can do not to have to freeze in the time being is invest in those little ceramic heaters that cost about $20 (tops) at Walmart. That's what my dad did when it happened to us. The occilatting ones are the best. And they really do warm up the room very well.
