First of all I had never heard of this company. I got my first car on July. A little after that I was receiving so many calls from Omnisure about how they could insure my car. I have no idea how they got my card info. I don't remember giving it because my husband has always warned me to not do that if I know nothing about whose calling. I was getting charged around 230 or more sorry can't remember exactly. Well I kept checking my bank account transactions and there it was, I had no idea what that was. I looked it up and I was so confused because I had never accepted anything from companies that I might not know. I called and called and it was no help. I called the bank and they changed my card. They said if they think you owe them money they could contact Visa and they could give them your information. I didn't think I owed them anything in fact I think they owed me, on March I checked my account transactions and there it was they charged me twice. I called them and said I owed them the money. Which I didn't! I was very mad. Me and my husband are struggling with money and there's this company charging me for something I don't even know. Well today April 12th I got a letter saying my account is cancelled because I didn't make some payments. I was relieved I just hope they don't keep charging me more. Do not let this company fool you. I will not be getting my money back sadly. I wouldn't want this to happen to anybody else. It sucks how people or companies take advantage of you. I'm glad my account has been cancelled with them. I want nothing to do with this company. It's a ripoff.

I have insurance. Everything with my car is in order. That's the reason why I cancelled.

One thing you failed to mention in this entire report is anything about what car insurance policy you have and why would you have two policies? So do you have Car Insurance through another company?
If not then you need to pay particular attention to the following.
You appear to live in Texas. Where like just about every other State they require you to carry minimum liability insurance. If you are financing the car you also most likely are required to carry "Full Coverage" Insurance as well.
So if they were in fact your only policy by cancelling them you are now in violation of the law. As such if it is reported to the State that your policy was cancelled the State of Texas could suspend your vehicle registration. If this happens and you drive it you are subject to being pulled over by the police, issued tickets, fines, and up to having your vehicle impounded. Yes States are VERY serious about insurance.
If you have insurance but not the Minimum the Finance company requires the finance company could add what is known as "Forced Placed" insurance to your loan. This is insurance that covers them and costs you 2-3 times what it would be for "regular" insurance that you could get. If you fail to pay this amount they have the legal right to reposess your vehicle.
So in closing....you better be sure you have not only insurance but the right insurance.
