payless car rental Total rip off, false ads, over charges, terrible experience! San Francisco California

I had terrible experience with payless.

I've booked the car from expedia.com because payless offered the best deal from the website. As soon as I arrived the airport, I realized I made a serious mistake.

First of all, the rental company isn't located at the airport, you have to take a shuttle to get to the car rental place, and they charge $$ for that. Which no other companies will do, and it's not listed from the website! Be aware.

Second, I noticed there is a long line at the customer service because they charge you extra, and it's different from what you booked from the website. Additional insurance and other small fees, I booked ford focus from the website and they told me they don't have it avaiable and I have to pay for the upgrades! By the time you get there it's too late to change your mind, because they located out of nowhere and no other rental companies are around.

So I ended up paying $70 extra than I booked from the website. The staff worked in payless are inexperience and slow. Then they just hand you a paper let you check the car and mark all damages.

After I returned the car, they pointed that there was a small windshield chip. I wasn't aware that in the first place, and I doubt it were there before I rent the car because they know exactly what to look for in the first place. They made me filled out an incident form although I never been in an accident. I was in a hurry to catch a flight so I just want to get done with them.

I am waiting for bills from them although I doubt they will do anything for the repair. From what I read looks like they will try to rip you off for any small damages, I will not pay anything if they don't send me the repair report.

This is the worst rental company I ever deal with.  Don't go with Payless. You will end up paying much more!!!
