This is the message currently displayed on the PayPal site when attempting to add funds to one's account from a credit card.

Also their customer service emails that tell you they just cancelled your payments to a seller, etc. are not very informative.   Here is a copy of an email from Paypal customer service.

Answer to what they said and the bank statement online

AUTHOR: flipstar20 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, December 11, 2009

I don't have the bank account anymore, and that's why it didn't work.  But the point is that I added an additional visa on the PayPal account so that PayPal would refer to it as backup if needed.

This "backup card" was charged a 1.00 then reversal to check it so I just don't understand why PayPal is not debiting that debit/credit card (visa).  Because now I have a negative balance to owe PayPal.

And on top of this there are odd charges on the paypal statement online like -3.33 that don't make sense to anything I've purchased

There is no grounds to report Paypal as ripping you off until you post what the BANKS processing error was. It seems Paypal  explained the reasons why they removed the account very clearly..and I quote...

"There was a BANK processing error".
