PeoplePC.com ripoff, fraudulent billing, charging us for service we did not subscribe to San Francisco California

Four or five months ago PeoplePC bought out or merged with GBRonline.com. We had used GBRonline.com for internet service. We chose not to accept PeoplePC as the new provider due to bad publicity about their service. WE DID NOT SIGN UP!

Four months later we have discovered monthly charges from PeoplePC on my wifes VISA Card. They have stolen four monthly fees out of that VISA account. My wife spent several hours trying to get this resolved uansuccessfully today March first 2006. They asked for a disconnect number--which we did not have since we never signed up!--

We then got a disconnect number and was routed to another individual who refused to even communicate with us since we did not disconnect four months ago and how therefore could he refund the four months fees. He could not or would not comprehend that we never signed up in the first place. I am sure this came about with the change over with GBRonlime---but what do they not understand about the fact that we never signed up--never registered--have never used their service!!!!!!!!!

Like Andy Rooney of 60 minutes--"I don't understand!!" We are filling out the VISA forms to demand our money back and we are turning this over to the "Call For Action" operation of KKTV Channel 11 in Colorado Springs, Colorado with the hope that the publicity of a TV report within Colorado will open someones eyes at PeoplePC Corporate Headquarters and notify others in the viewing area to double check their VISA charges.
