Was on the debt settlement program for 7 months. Paid over $1400 for them to do nothing. They took over $1000 for "legal fees". They did not explain to me when I enrolled that there was going to be a monthly charge for legal fees for the first 18 months. They also did not tell me that nothing could be done, until I had at least 40% of the balance due to my creditors in escrow!!! I just found that out yesterday, so I decided to cancel the program!!! From the $1400 that I already paid to them, I'm only getting back $339. The rest all went to "legal fees". And for what? They weren't doing anything, no negotiating was being done with my creditors!!!!
