Personal Creations has the absolute worst customer service I have ever seen. I placed an order for a Christmas present on Dec 2nd. I requested expedited shipping when placing the order, and paid extra for it. I knew that the product had to be personalized and would take a little longer, so I decided I would need to pay for faster shipping.
The next morning I checked my email for the confirmation. The confirmations email said that the expedited shipping had been cancelled. I called customer service to make sure that I had not misunderstood the email. I was on hold for 30 minutes. When I finally got a customer service rep on the phone I asked her to explain why the etra shipping had been cancelled.
She told me that expedited shipping was not available in that product. I asked to why the website allowed me to purchase additional shipping, she had no answer to that. I then asked when the product should be expected to arrive. She said she could not tell me that because it had already been sent to their "drop shipper".
I told her that my confirmation email said that it would take 3-4 weeks. She then told me that any orderes placed before Dec 13th were guaranteed by Christmas. I then told her again that the email said 3-4 weeks, and if it was going to be 4 weeks, it would be January before I recieved it.
I told her that since she could not give me any idea of when I would recieve it, that I would like to cancel the order. She told me that the order could not be cancelled. I informed her that I would not be doing business with her company again.
I finally recieved the product on Dec. 18th. The gift had to be wrapped and mailed across the country by Christmas. I notified the recipeint that it was not going to make it by Christmas, and I was sorry.
Then I opened the box. I ordered an embroidared quilt. The embroidary was horrible! It looked as if the machine had skipped or snagged on several of the letters.
I have emailed the company twice about the issue and still, as of Dec 28th, I have not mailed the gift, in hopes that this company will do the right thing. This gift was to be a keepsake, but instead is an embarassment.
I absolutely do not suggest anyone ordering from them. Do not believe their fancy customer service promise! You will not be able to get anyone with a half of a brain on the phone, and will never recieve an email response. Dont waste your money!
