Was Morse your van line that was contracted through Precision?

AUTHOR: M. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, July 03, 2005

Was Morse your van line that was contracted through Precision? I am having a lot of problems with both companies but can only find complaints listed for Precision not Morse. If they were involved in your move and were outrageous with you too please leave a report on them. Thanks.

Reasonable overage charges????

AUTHOR: Sharon - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 26, 2004

Kirk, don't you mean to contact "Tom Smith" (which is about the most generic pseudonym I've ever heard!)?

In what way are the overage charges reasonable? Perhaps the inventory list changed because suddenly one item because three or four separate parts. And the per pound weight was probably based on twelve items. Handy.

Since you are only a broker, and have no license to move the load yourself (even though you own trucks and have failed two inspections, so you're illegally moving people anyway), perhaps you can enlighten the reading public as to which company you hired to handle this move, and in what way you are working with that company to deliver the items discussed? Is it Morse Van Lines, whom you claims to do exclusive business with? Or is this one of the thousands of moves you claim to do each month, with your two trucks and no license?

Are you going to ask Sam to retract his statement or you won't process his claim, like you have attempted with previous customers?

Let's Set the Record Straight

AUTHOR: K.C. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, October 25, 2004

We at Precision Moving pride ourselves on the quality of service we provide. This dispute remains pending, unresolved (note the recent date of Sam's post) due to the customers' refusal to pay the reasonable overage charges. These were agreed upon in advance with a guaranteed price per pound and an estimate based on an itemized inventory.

Their original inventory listed 12 items. The actual load included 20 items, with additions including a major appliance and a dining set comprised of table and four chairs. In fact, the load was delivered on time, but we could not complete the delivery without payment in full - a standard business policy in any industry.
.
This complaint was premature, insofar as the situation remains unresolved. We are working diligently to resolve it, and can provide clear and evidence to support our perspective. Inquiries may be addressed to KC personally via his direct line: 561-282-6726. Our phones are working perfectly, and we are available in the office 9:00am 6:00pm EST, Monday through Friday. Call us toll free anytime at (888) 569-1775.
