Before they scheduled me for my move, they required a deposit of $696.40, which I paid. Repeatedly, I told them our house had not yet closed, so I wasn't positive what the date would be for our move. They repeatedly assured me that it would be no problem, they could schedule it up to 3 days before the move date. They totally lied. I contacted them, after cancelling the date they had prompted me to give them, as a tentative date. Of course, I restated every time that I didn't yet have a closing date. 1 week before the move I asked them if I still had time to schedule it, and they assured me it was okay.
I heard nothing more from them after that. I called and talked once more to a guy named Robert. From then on, each time I tried to talk on the phone, he was rude, and passed me off to someone else, like, a secretary. Or, the manager just happened to be out of the office. The one time my husband actually talked to this "manager", he said he would look at the records and contact him in 2 days. No more communication after that. I also sent a certified letter, stating that I expected a response, and I received nothing.
I really need my $696.40 returned. We ended up doing it all ourselves, moving from Oregon to Arizona in a Penske truck. These people are unscrupulous, and I know they scammed me. I had no idea that deposits are non-refundable, and they never informed me of such. They try to avoid any contact with me, and give us the run-around every single time. Yes, I was scammed, and I'm really mad and frustrated.

Their "office" is the loft apartment of the owner, Thomas Smith, who also lists an address of 303 RICH DR. APT 220, WEST PALM BEACH FL 33406.
If they did not tell you or offer it in writing anywhere that the deposit is non-refundable, then it is not true. They cannot just claim so after the fact. Call your credit card company and file a dispute of the charges. Don't waste your time with them anymore.
