Progressive Insurance charged me after I cancelled and sent me to collections without notifying me.  Memphis Nationwide

I had a glass claim, and the adjuster asked me the same questions over and over, recording my statement.  Then after he took photos and "investigated," he called me back to say that there was no storm report for the day a tree branch fell on my windshield.  I told him that I didn't know about that, but I still have a broken windshield after a tree branch fell on it. He finally paid the claim, but made me feel like a criminal throughout the process.  After that, I decided to switch insurance companies.  Two years after I cancelled my policy, I was checking my credit report and found a collections acct from them for $161.00  which they say I still owed them.  Their computer system says they sent me bills, but I never received them.  It was a total surprise to find the collection on my report.
