Puppy Love Puppy love abuse and neglect, sold us sick puppies, one of which was inbred ripoff Woodbridge Virginia

I'm very glad I stumbled upon this website. Three years ago I bought a border collie and a sheltie from Puppy Love in Woodbridge. Shortly after bringing the border collie home, it was coughing and very sick. We took him to the emergency room one night and found out he had pneumonia and kennel cough.

After paying $300, and giving him daily medications, he was getting better. Then, our sheltie became extremely ill. He lost nearly 1/3 of his weight and was throwing up bright yellow bile.

We took him to the emergency room, where they had to keep him hooked up to IVs for a few days. The bill was nearly $2,000!! After we took him home, he would still get sick, and became mean and aggressive. One day he tried to bite me when I bent down to pet him, and the next day he attacked my little border collie. Because of this, we took him to a Sheltie rescue organization, so they could find a proper home for him. I had him for two months, and it was very difficult to give him up, but I had to for the sake of my other puppy. Luckily, the border collie is ok today, although he does still get sick pretty easily. In my opinion, the sheltie we bought from Puppy Love was inbred. He didn't quite look right, and he was very sickly and aggressive, which is usually uncharacteristic of shelties, which I had growing up.

I think what these people are doing is dispicable. They should be punished to the full extent of the law for the abuse and neglect of these poor puppies, and for ripping off unsuspecting buyers.
