I ordered a replacement phone from ReachOut Wireless on 03/06/2013. I was told the phone would be shipped to me within 3-5 business days. It been more than 3 weeks, and I still have not received the replacement phone, nor has it been shipped, for which I have already paid $79.00. I'm being told that I can not cancel the order because it has been processed. If I choose
to cancel the order, I have to first wait for the phone to be shipped, accept the shipment, then return it at a cost of 15% restocking fee. In the meantime, ReachOut Wireless is holding on to my money, (an presumably many others)
gaining 1000's of $$ in interest, and not delivering. ISN'T THIS THEFT-BY-DECEPTION? WHO IN THERE RIGHT MIND SET WOULD JUST GIVE AWAY MONEY FOR WEEKS, TO MONTHS AT A TIME FOR FREE? Something should be done, IMMEDIATELY
about their government contract. Obviously this company is not capable of maintaining such a contract. Additionally, by telling customers that the phone would be shipped within a certain time frame and then not following through,
ReachOut Wireless is in breach of an oral agreement (contract). If I was told I would wait up to two months to receive my replacement phone, I would never have ordered it......... Maybe we consumers have grounds for a class action law suit
against ReachOut Wireless.

Reachout Wireless Is Full of Hot Air and False Promises

AUTHOR: Tracey - ()

POSTED: Friday, April 05, 2013

Reachout Wireless, you have responded to my complaint as follows:

Dear TEK,

We sincerely regret the shipping delays you have experienced. We would like to work with you to make sure you get your phone as soon as possible, please contact us directly by emailing us at feedback@reachoutwireless.com so we can work to resolve your issues as quickly as possible.

Thank you,
ReachOut Wireless Customer Compliance

To you, ReachOut Wireless, I say:

I have contacted ReachOut Wireless daily, via telephone for the past three (3) weeks. I have spoken with various personnel, from Customer Service Reps, to Supervisors, to Managers, to finally the legal dept. (Keegan and Jeff), with no resolution. ReachOut Wireless continues to tell me that I can not be refunded the $79 paid for a replacement phone on 03/06/2013, and that the cell phone will be shipped soon.

When conducting my daily cals to ReachOut Wireless, everyone I have spoken with over the past three (3) weeks wants to discuss the new shipping system that was not in place at the time of my order on 03/06/2013, (which allegedly is the reason the phone has not been shipped), and additionally offers their condolences because of what has and continues to occur. I am further being told that shipping resumed on 03/22/2013, 2+ weeks ago. Still my phone has not been included in any of those shipments. Yesterday Keegan in the legal dept. transferred me to another ReachOut personnel, (Johanan, sp?) for the purpose of a refund. But I was told again, I must wait for a phone which has not been shipped to be shipped, then if I do not want the phone I could return it at a 15% restocking fee.

ReachOut Wireless, YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:

When I made this purchase ON 03/06/2013, via live customer service rep., I was promised that the cell phone would be shipped within 3-5 business days. Had I known I would still be waiting for a refurbished telephone to be shipped to me more than a month after the date of purchase, I would NEVER have made the purchase.

Your company engaged in an oral agreement (contract) on 03/06/2013, (i.e. shipment within 3-5 days) and has breached that agreement. Furthermore, by breaching this agreement and refusing to refund my money, (plus reasonable interest), and still having not shipped the order product, (nor a product of similar value), ReachOut Wireless is committing a crime, Theft By Deception..............

Please stop the 'whoa is me' business practices, and start conducting LEGITIMATE business, by delivering to the customers of ReachOut Wireless quality products, in timely manner!!!!
