I started a credit counseling/management service, Credicure, Inc. Richard A. Brennan was the lawyer for this business. OR something....it was pretty confusing what actually happened. I actually got to talk to him in the beginning. He seemed like a nice person who wanted to help me. I did want to get out of debt. I do still. So, we signed a contract together and i started sending him money. $175.00 per month was automatically withdrawn from my checking account. He said that we would wait a while and let the funds accrew and then he would talk to them about settling on my debt. Well, I figured this was just the way it had to go.

So, I found that it became increasingly hard to get into contact with anyone from his office or from the "supposed" counseling/management service. Some of the people I talked to didn't even know what I was talking about. So, I decided it was in my best interest to cancel my account because I couldn't get ahold of anyone to tell my anything. SO I did.

That was about a Year ago, and i have been trying to get ahold of them ever since. I got someone on the phone who couldn't help me and i'm still in the same boat. I have sent faxes and emails and left numerous messages. But no one has returned or replied to any of them.

I am left to join the numbers in the class action suit against Richard A. Brennan. I want this situation to be resolved. I do feel I am entitled to all of my money (even the retainer that he was going to keep if either party canceled the contract). I feel I am entitled to these funds because no service was provided to me. I was left uninformed and unaware, despite request and demand.

I do want to give people the benefit of doubt. Maybe he is struggling to resolve all these issues....blah blah blah. but, then are there so many that it will take him a year to call me back? THat is pretty hard to believe....so, I am doing only what I can do - the class action thing. I do, as well, feel I am owed interest on my money and for the suffering/stress/ and time spent trying to contact anyone. This has cut out of my work and activities and most of all...my life.

I don't see how a person who willingly does these things could even sleep at night. It upsets me deeply to think that there are many many people making money illegally....especially when it is at the stake of those who are trying to better their own situation.
