I could count on all of my fingers and toes and it still wouldn't add up to the amount of times I called Ride On or MC311 making a complaint about the bus routes. The bus drivers on some of the routes, (I can't speak for all of the routes), are very rude and inconsiderate. I hate to say it and point it out but nine times out of ten, the problem occurs from either a African, Black or Hispanic bus driver. Don't get me wrong, there are times when I have problems with a bus driver who is white but not as many times as a bus driver who is African, Black or Hispanic.
Its just sad that myself as a customer, have to deal with poor attitudes; you just ask yourself, "WHY ARE THEY EVEN WORKING HERE?" You that you had to deal with people everyday of the week but you still applied for the position. If you are not a people person or you just don't have the skills to deal with people, DO NOT WORK AT JOBS THAT REQUIRE THOSE SKILLS.
These bus drivers either pass you at the bus stop, they see you at the bus stop but refuse to pick you up, come very late/do not follow the bus schedules, talking/texting on the phone (while driving the bus or pulls off to the side to use the phone), take longer breaks than what they suppose to (which takes up the time they are suppose to drive the bus to their destination), driving the bus before passengers can sit (elderly, pregnant, people with children and etc.), giving you attitude when the passengers ask simple questions, I can go on and on more examples.
Then when trying to call to report them, (240-777-7433 or 311), the operator sometimes gives you a hard time but if he/she doesn't give you a hard time, then they ask for your infomartion and ask if you would like to get a call back from the supervisor. Sometimes, the supervisor never calls you back, sometimes they do, (they either do it immediately or take forever to call back). When you do speak to the supervisor, they tell you they are going to deal with the matter/fix the problem, but then it is still happening. I do not know if they train their employees improperly, but the matter needs to be fixed, especially if people are paying for a service they are not getting.
