 In response to Consumer Comment #1 Yes, this grotesque fraud is transparent. The wealthy take advantage of the not. Our representatives pander to the elite and shun the disadvantaged and the victims. I filed a ripoffreport google "Lifeline WAR ON POOR". Today I picked up my landline and it was dead, so I call my number to hear the expected recording,"The number you dialed is no longer in service." This is the outcome of me filing a FCC complaint five months ago. I did not receive the required notification regarding my complaint. In the event, my access to life saving has been terminated. Does anyone think the FCC will place flowers on my grave?

The Government has Shoddy Negotiators. Gave Consumers a BAD DEAL with Safelink/Assurance Wireless

The U.S. Government has shoddy negotiators. They gave consumers a bad deal with how they allowed Safelink and Assurance Wireless to set up the contracts. These companies don't even roll over minutes forcing folks to pay for additional minutes. If you only use 100 minutes in a month why not roll that other 100 minutes over? The poor really get screwed. THe game is so rigged.

I'm not with Safelink I'm with Assurance Wireless but they all work the same. And I know some knee jerking racist gun crazed, bible thumping IDIOT is going to come on here and raise hell about free phones and I can tell them the phones AREN'T FREE because I paid into the d**n TAX SYSTEM FOR ALL MY LIFE and the minute I lose a job I dare someone to tell me I can't get help from MY OWN d**n MONEY!

And another thing.. These Republicans love raising hell about anything that helps the poor and they don't care anything about the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX charging the U.S. Government $800 dollars for a NAIL (and they use MILLIONS of nails) and other exhorbitant prices for routine building material. They don't care anything about the richest 400 Americans, MULTI BILLIONAIRES paying LESS TAXES from this RIGGED TAX SYSTEM than a teacher making $30,000 a year. 

So give me a BREAK.
