Santa Barbara Bank And Trust SBBT INTENTIONALLY FORCES $26 FEES ON AS MANY TRANSACTIONS AS POSSIBLE!!! NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY Goleta California

If a customer has 2, 3, 4, etc. etc., transactions hit their account on any given day SBBT WILL ALWAYS run the highest transaction first TO INTENTIONALLY OVERDRAW your account so they can charge their $26 fee AGAIN, AND AGAIN... When I first signed up with SBBT for a checking account I was specifically told that at the end of each day they did their accounting to the Customers Benefit - COMPLETE LIES!!!!!!
For instance, if you have $1,900 in your account on 4/05/08, And the following transactions hit your account on 4/5/08 (all they way up to 11:59pm:
$8 from 7-11,
$5 from Starbucks
$56 from the gas station,
$23 from Albertson's,
and your rent check comes through for $1,850,...
SBBT will will run the $1,850 rent check FIRST, then the $56 gas station transaction (that you'd swiped your card through 3 days ago!!!)... just to ensure they can hit you up for $104 in overdraft fees!!!!!!!!! Instead of running all of the smaller amounts through FIRST, then only charging you the ONE $26 FEE for the rent check !!!!!!!!!!!
SBBT IS NOT OUT THERE TO HELP THE CONSUMER... ONLY TO HURT THE CONSUMER!!!!!!!!!!!!
