Santa Barbara Bank And Trust Won't Give me my MONEY ripoff Santa Barbara California

Santa Barbara Bank and Trust are theives and liars. They were to directly deposit my refund from my taxes into my account on 1/26/07, but have not. The following were excuses I have received:

-IRS did not deposit the money, they are a week behind in depositing money
-We didn't receive your money in time from the IRS, we only receive money from the IRS once a week
- You may be under investigation from the IRS, that's why we didn't receive your money.

I have called and spoken with the IRS, with their accounting and refund departments, with regular phone guys and supervisors and none of this is true.

Apparently SBBT does this every year, holds thousands of people's IRS money in their accounts and REFUSES to release it.

When I checked my status on SBBT on 1/25/07, a WHOLE day before I was supposed to receive my deposit, SBBT stated that I hadn't received my IRS refund on 1/26/07 as they expected. So apparently SBBT was planning on not releasing my money, regardless of whether or not the IRS released it.

The truth is that the IRS did send the money, the confirmed and verified with me over the phone that it was sent and received by SBBT bank and that it was up to SBBT to release those funds to me, which SBBT REFUSES to do.

So, SBBT is a thief and a liar. A encourage everyone to write a letter to IRS, call their fraud line, write to BBB and contact newspapers and join in a class action suit.
