I have had satellite direct for about 2 years. I bought it with the promise that it was a one time fee. After 1 year I got a message started asking me for my key, saying my key was not valid.. For almost one year I tried to contact customer service and was referred to click bank then click bank referred me to another site, finally they fixed it. After complaining on an online site. Then just yesterday approximately one year later. I go to turn it on and I get an error saying that Its already installed on another pc.
Well 1. Its the same pc and 2. I don't own another pc. I immediately wrote to customer service and they suggested i take a new subscription.When I said I purchase a lifetime subscription they replied with oh that is the old version. You just need to reinstall it. Which I tried, but I get the same error. They then said to me, you cannot install in on a new pc with an once its already on a pc........ i feel like I am hitting my head against the wall... Its the same PC. So basically as of now.. it doesn't work AGAIN. believe the just want me to upgrade to a new service..... grrrr... buy it at your own risk.. because they don't stand by their own product.
I have he receipt of my original purchase where it clearly states a "one time fee". Thanks.

Just wondering... Did anything change on your computer at all? Like hard drive replacement, ISP (ID address) or any hardware on your computer?
If you used the same computer without any changes made to it where Satellite Direct was installed and you were given another year of support that included restting the activation code and nothing changed on your computer afterwards and the activation code expired again, then you should be given access again I would think.
However, Satellite Direct is no longer honoring Clickbank purchases. My copy of Satellite Direct was deactivated because of that. Sat Direct was forced out of the Clickbank marketplace and perhaps couldn't track order numbers, sales and refunds. Still that doesn't seem fair to Clickbank purchasers.
If you truly believe nothing changed on your computer including ISP (IP address) but purchased the software through Clickbank, then more than likely they accomodated you when giving you another year. They no longer honor Clickbank purchases. I understand the lifetime membership as promised but things changed once they left Clickbank. SatelliteDirect now use other marketplaces to sell the software. Moving forward... below explans their TOS...

Lifetime Service
If the customer purchases the one-time fee Satellite Direct, then the customer can use the software and get channel updates for a lifetime without paying any additional fee.
One Year After Purchase
If after one year of purchase the customer changes computers/devices or upgrades/repairs his/her
computer/device or installs new hardware - causing Sat Direct to deactivate - then the customer will need to purchase a new license.
So basically, after one year of use, any problem occurs that causes the SatelliteDirect software
to deactivate you will need to purchase the software again to obtain a new license/activation code.
Recap:
One year support: Includes tech support, channel updates & software upgrades, installation support, remote installation and resetting the account due new computer, ISP or change in hardware.
After One year: Lifetime Use/Access with continual channel updates
