SECURUS TECHNOLOGIES INMATE SERVICES PROVIDES PHONE AND VIDEO SERVICES FOR FAMILIES OF INMATES!!! BUYER BEWARE!!! Securus Technologies is a complete RIPOFF! They talk a good game but when it comes to customer service they SUCK!

Video Service - if you have an inmate in Jefferson County Jail - According to the posters everywhere you can do unlimited video services from home - for $5 a pop. Now when you set up the account at Securus - you have to be approved by the facility first. Then when you start scheduling - don't schedule more than one at a time because it will give you a VELOCITY VALIDATION ERROR! and they BLOCK YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD - every time you call their customer service you get a different answer or transferred to a supervisor's voice mail and they never call you back!

When you ask to speak to their tech support to find out about the issue you don't get anywhere, also if you ever ask to speak to their merchant service you asked to write a complaint to the PO BOX 1109 Addison TX 75001.

Unbelievable! - But you allow me to charge the phone service and that charge goes through but then try to charge on video and you are blocked!

They blocked me for a month! Unbelievable! - $5 for video visit for 30 mins and then $5.49 for 15 min phone call and they will also charge you $3.99 Admin fee! I was charged twice for an admin fee in June one on 6/2 and one on 6/18 for June and July?

crazy!!!!  filed a complaint with FCC and when I have $25 I will file with the BBB.
