SPS says they want to help with your mortage problems but thats a lie - They make you jump through hoops filling out pages and pages of forms - supplying months of bank records and paystubs only to deny you any mortage modification

They buy up past due loans from companies like Chase and immediately put you in default status - sending letters weekly demanding payment and threating legal action - having 3rd parties come on property leaving threating notes all the while calling you at all times day and night.

This "company" is no better than the scum-sucking collection agencies of boiler-room days - They want to foreclose - kick families out into the street just to recover .10 on the dollar.  I am 5 payments behind and asked to put those payments at end of the loan since I can make my monthly payment but they refused - told me to file bankrupsy since I can not pay my bills - This from a minimun wage hack sitting in a strip mall office on a phone.

Shame on you - SPS. Its companies like you that make us all sick.

Typical Response

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, May 05, 2015

When you post on a public web site, the public may respond.  Oh and this may be a shock for you, the public may not always agree with you.  But your resonse is quite typical as when someone doesn't say what they want, they go right to the "You must work for them".  But if you look around the rest of this site you realize how st**id that makes you look, where you can be sure that Jim or myself(since I am sure you will accuse me as well) do not work for this company.

The fact remains that you do not just one day end up in default facing forclosure...you were 5 that is FIVE months late.

Now, of course you are upset about your situation and I am sure calling people names makes you feel better.  But the fact is that it will not help you save your house.  As much as you hate it they are following the mortgage document YOU agreed to.  You should consider yourself lucky as many companies would actually start foreclosure procedeedings when you are about 3 months late.  And contrary to what you think, if it wasn't this company to start foreclosure...it would have been some company.

The best option for you may now be bankruptcy as if you got 5 months behind whether or not you want to admit it there are obviously other financial issues that you need to take care of.  The fact is that right now if bankruptcy can save your house, are you going to let your pride stand in the way?  Because if so, your pride may be all you have.  Of course to some people are so pridefull that they would rather be homeless and blame the "evil bank" for their situation than to actually do something that may save the house.

Jim,

No one asked your opinion - I stated the facts and descibed what has happened. I glad you are perfect and make so mistakes nor have any unforseen circumstances that causes you to request assistance.

I sure we can all learn from your PERFECT track record but frankly I dont care what you think or what you comments are - Go troll the rest of the posts and make useless comments elsewhere. make sure you put on some pants before climbing out of mommys basement because no one what to see that....

Fly away, little troll - you are either a waste of air or a SPS employee (but that would mean you had a job now wouldn't it?) - either way you are a non-factor in a legitimate conversation...

A Ripoff, Right?

They immediately put you in default?  Guess what, Einstein, YOU were already in default by being FIVE months late!  You can cry and whine all you wish, the bottom line is YOU put yourself into this situation by YOU not making YOUR payments on time.  What makes you think you have some sort of entitlement to this house without making mortgage payments?  Since you can't or won't make your payments on time then bankruptcy might be the step for you.

Oh yes, let me save you some effort.  Don't bother writing back claiming "you must work for them", because I don't!
