During the home mortgage crisis, I almost lost my home of more than 20 years. I lost my job due to medical reasons. My brother, who had excellent credit, obtained a new mortage through the bank where he worked. In the contract, I was supposed to pay the monthly payments, taxes and insurance. The bank immediately played games and demanded increases in monthly payments to double what it was on the loan agreement. The bank sold the loan to another company and in their possession, the loan payments went back to normal. After a year, the mortgage company sold the mortgage back to the bank. After a few months, the bank went back to their old games. I continued to pay the loan back at the amount on the contract. The bank threatened default, forclosure and eviction every day. The bank sold the mortgage to SPS. Immediately SPS attached late fees and other miscellanious feees and demanded almost $1,000 to catch the loan up to their made up amount. These fees have been disputed with SPS responding that they are working on a response. They too are threatening forclosure. Every 6 months I receive a mandated report on the status of the adjustale rate mortgage (ARM). Since the birth of the loan, the ARM has decreased. I just received an updated ARM notice and the ARM also decreased. In simple terms, when the ARM goes down, so does your mortgage payment per month. Not with SPS. The ARM notice I received shows, for the first time an ARM increase. The last ARM decreased, yet my payments went up. This new notice shows an increase of 0.35%. While the principal amount went down by $13, my monthly payments went up $34. Their math never seems to be correct. While they scream that they have never added interest to this loan, their paperwork shows an application of interest in the amount of $476. None of what they say shows as accurate including the tax paperwork they sent so it can be reported on my tax return. I have filed complaints with the Feds and State and neither wants to do anything to protect us. SPS says they want to keep us in our homes, yet their actions say different. To be honest, if I could move, they can have this money pit.

My name is Sarah, I am replying to you because saw your comment reply about Select Portfolio Servicing involvement with your mortgage. I work for a company that deals with these types Select Portfolio Servicing have been one of the names that has been coming up a whole lot lately. It seems they are involved with a ton of fraudulent loans.
We will be able to advise,consult and educate you. You may be able to receive the compensation you deserve due to the negligence of the lenders involved. It is your obligation to yourself to use your last means of defense to get to the truth of this matter. Once you provide evidence that they have been collecting on your property illegally you can take it to court and petition to void the deed of trust.

All Lenders are must produce the Documents required by Law to prove ownership of the loan. This is called Validation.
