What is a fair profit margin for a business to do nothing?  If your simplefilings.com it's as much as 300%. 

The site provides a "service" and charges you a fee.  What you need to know before hand is that this site is NOT affiliated with any STATE or FEDERAL entity.  I thought "simple filings" was some online feature of the IRS.  As is turns out, simplefilings.com is just another sleazy business trying to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers.   They may clear a 300% profit for something you can easily do yourself.

I was charged nearly $200 for a service (obtaining a tax ID) that is provide by the IRS at irs.gov for FREE.  

In Tennessee the cost to incorporate your business is $100.00 and is done with a 1 page document that requires nothing more than your name and address.  Simple Filings offers to do this for $418.00

I made a mistake as a consumer by not paying better attention to who I was doing business with.  Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid being ripped off by simplefilings.com.
