Sirius Satellite Radio ,Sirius $50 rebate ripoff - rebate center "loses" forms, requires resubmittals, delays payments, fails to pay New York New York

Sirius Satellite Radio offered 'Sportster' model radios at Radio Shack stores for $134.99 with a $50.00 rebate when a new radio was activated prior to December 31, 2005.

Two radios were purchased and given as Christmas gifts. Both were activated prior to Dec. 31, 2005. All requirements, (documentation, UPC labels, unit ESN/SID numbers, receipts, etc.) needed to qualify for the rebates were timely submitted to the Sirius $50 Rebate mailing address in Mesa, AZ.

Ten weeks later I was requested to re-submit documentation on the SID/ESN number for one of the units. Information was required by April 13. I complied with this request and per USPS tracking number the information was received on April 13.

On July 14, 2006, I contacted Sirius Customer Service to learn one rebate 'may' be sent in 5-6 weeks and the Sirius Rebate Center will "check" on my second rebate. Does anyone want to wager a friendly bet on the chance of me receiving 1 rebate?...2 rebates?
