Sprint PCS made unauthorized changes to my plan Overland Park Kansas

On September 25, 2008, Sprint e-mailed me confirmation of changes made to our cellular phone plan. However, I (or my son) had not made any changes to our plan. All of those changes were unauthorized. I called Sprint immediately, was told that "someone called in and made the changes." The Sprint agent did not want to believe me when I told her those changes were not made by us. I kept pushing the issue and the Sprint lady put me on hold a couple times and finally came back with "the proper ID had not been taken." Most of us who have called into Sprint knows that Sprint asks for a pin number or the security question - Sprint didn't have record of mine being taken or given. Therefore, Sprint was calling this a case of fraud and "their will be action taken against the agent who made the changes." At that time they said they would revert my plan to the way it was.

But later that day, still upset as to why this was allowed to happen, I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. Five business days later, the matter was corrected. Besides being reverted to our previous plan, I wanted out of our contracts. And we got out of our contracts; I still had one year to go.

But, the new bill came yesterday - not everything reverted. The other phone line had been given free unlimited text messaging (because of a previous Sprint error) but it has now been removed. I've been in contact with Sprint and the BBB already.

I would suggest signing up at Sprintpcs.com and giving them your e-mail address. I assume that is why I get confirmations of changes to my account as I receive no other info from Sprint via e-mail.

Know your bill, not just the plan charges. And when their is a problem call them immediately and you can file online with the BBB. I totally believe Sprint knows what they are doing and will continue to do it.
