SquareTrade fraud, misrepresentation, San Francisco California

On Decemer 19 2016 I purchased an extended warranty on a Deer - CR44CD turntable console with cd player/am/fm radio in the amount of $49.99 on ebay from SquareTrade (270826537256). The terms of the contract stated the exended warranty kicked in after the manufacture's limited one year warranty ended. A few days after I made the purchase I soon discovered Crosley would not honor the one year limited warranty. Because the purchase was made on eBay rather through an authorized Crosley dealer. (none of this was mentioned in the seller's desciption of the product. I immediately called SquareTrade and soon found out they would not honor the extended warranty I purchased. Because it was completely contingent on the manufacture's one year warranty. In short: The extended warranty was invalid and worthless. Neither would SquareTrade refund my money. I contacted eBay and was dragged through a maze of bureaucracy only to be told eBay would not not do anything to help me get a refund. Since the actual purchase was made through PayPal I contacted them. PayPal refused to do anything because the purchase was made with a Visa card registered with Paypal but not an actual PayPal credit credit card. They suggested I contacr SquareTrade which I had already done. (more bureacracy) I still have not received a refund from SquareTrade nor will they even acknowledge the transaction. I have since contested the 49.99 charge with the Credit Card company. So far the case has not been resolved. In the meanwhile checking with the San Francisco Better Business Association thus far there have been close to 2000 complaints filed about shady business practices by SquareTrade. All I want now is my money. I was duped into buying a worthless contract.
