Steak N Shake Horrible Managment Spring Hill Florida

I have worked at this steak n shake for quite awhile, and ive never been so disappointed in the company as i am now. the management there is God awful.

our general manager (David Stange) is not only cheap, but spineless. he refuses to anything about customer complaints, nor the employees complaints. if you ask to talk to him about something, he says "hold on a min" then runs to the office or works on avoiding you. he refuses to give raises where raises are due. he would much rather hire new people in at a higher pay. as a trainer who trains these employees to do THEIR jobs, i would think i would get paid more, but dont.

our manager (Alex Coleman) is another peice of work. he used to work at my store as an employee when i started there, and now he has come back as a manager. when he came back, his persona had changed drastically and he thought he was the best of the best. now, he is hiring all of these new people in that we dont need because our business has died due to economy, and has cut all other associates that have been there much longer their hours. but who took my hours away from me you ask. ALL THE NEW PEOPLE (who get paid more than me) he is trying to wieve all associates out and get a whole new crew in, and i know this because he talked about it to one of the employees he likes and wants to keep there. his hiring methods are ridiculous as well. one girl he hired, he hired because shes cute and flirted with him as he so bragged about afterwards.

Libby Holbrook, our shift manager, well, she doesnt do anything, and i mean that literally. all she does is sit at random customer tables and talks talks talks. and if the phone rings, we better not touch it, she has to answer it because she wants to talk some more. if you ask her for help, she ignores you or puts on gloves and then walks away. if were in the middle of a rush and (for instant) you put to much lettuce on the burger, she'll tell you that you have to learn to do your job, but i have not once seen her do hers.

so if you are looking for a job, please, save yourself the time and aggrivation and DONT apply here. if i could find another job right now i would but no one is willing to hire. trust me, ive tried
