sullivan tire Ridiculous Hidden Charges boston, Massachusetts

I had a flat tire and dropped it off at Sullivan Tire, and I also scheduled PM inspection. The tire was not repairable, so I needed two new ones, fine. My car is 2008 VW rabbit, a fairly new car, guess how much they charged me for replacing my tires and some replacements according to their 'inspection results'? OVER 800 bucks!

Here is the list:

1, Two new front tires, passenger tires, 223 (FAIR)

2, Wheel Balance check and Alignment check, (139!!!! 105 for alignment check, without even asking me.)

3, Tire protection plan, (34, without asking me.)

3, PM inspection 39.95 (FAIR)

4, There are two charges of NEOFORM Blade, both for RIGHT, don't understand why they needed two. (30 + 28, total 58, basically for my right wiper, way higher than the price I can find online.)

5, Two air filters,(20 + 61, total 81, way higher than the price I can find online)

6, 4 spark plug replacement, (57 for parts and 150 for labor, total 207 for just 15 minutes work!!!)

I checked with the auto shop that's close to my work and showed them the invoice, they said they could get all these done with less than half of what Sullivan Tire had charged me.

When I questioned about the charges, Sullivan Tire insisted nothing can be refunded. Well, since there is nothing they can do , I will do my best to post my review on all related websites. Hopefully there will not be any more victims like me.
