We too, had contracted Supermedia to run a postcard campaign for us. The rep we had was extremely deceptive, we had an account created and they were to send out 5,000 postcards which they also were to give us 1,000 free (non-stamped). They sent us the 1,000 free ones, however NEVER mailed the postcards out to prospective clients. When we attempted to dispute and bring this matter to their attention, we were informed that our rep was "sick", several times we attempted to contact them where she was either sick, on vacation, and eventually apparently terminated. Since they did NOT live up to their end of the contract nor do anything but deflect our issue, we refused to make the payments (why should we if the service wasn't delivered). Instead, they referred us to "internal" collections to the point of now lawsuit threats.
We will be seeking legal acton against Supermedia and Idearc for deceptive business practices, Libel and Slander. Please note, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will promise you the world and never deliver it, still trying to make you pay for a ghost service. Also, good luck receiving customer service or assistance on trying to correct the issues because they will not help. Also, they provided what they considered a "delivery confirmation" which shows you as a number. The account they claimed was "ours" wasn't even for the correct amount of postcards that were supposed to be delivered which proves even further that they just picked a random delivery out of a several sheet list and claimed it ours. Do yourself a favor and use a company which actually delivers what they charge you for such as moneymaker postcards and stay FAR, FAR AWAY from Supermedia, which by the way will only give you a PO Box address to contact them. That's not very promising!
