My son really wanted a cell phone for Christmas so, I looked up the deals, "promos", that many cell phone carriers tend to offer this time of year. My son decided on the HTC Radar 4G.

 He went online to place the order.  The promo was an online add on their site offering this particular phone for free with a new 2 year contract. 

He gave them permission to call him.  They took all of his pertinent information including his credit card info. They said his phone would ship out either the 26th or 27th of this month.

 It's the 31st and his phone still has not been delivered. He gave them a call and spoke to a rep who apologized profusely...it seems T-Mobile  had canceled the order! They didn't cancel the order because of lack of funds.  The Rep couldn't even tell us why the order was canceled.

The rep told my son there was nothing he could do as the promo had expired...yup, you guessed it...the phone is no longer free but now costs $99.99.

 I asked to speak to his supervisor and he was even less helpful  than the other rep. He told me there was nothing he could do.

I then asked for the number to the Corporate Office and he told me they don't have a phone number to give out...they only have a P.O. address!

Update on Team Mobil...

Weeks later and, after I posted my complaint, I received an email from Team Mobile.  This person said the reason my son's phone (Christmas Present) was never sent out was lack of credit.  I don't know if I buy this explanation because if that were the case, I'm sure the employee we spoke to would have been able to tell me that.  He said he didn't know why the order was cancelled. 

I know that not having established credit can cause a thing like this to happen but again,  the associate I spoke to said he had no clue why the order cancelled and even went so far as to say the mess up was on their part. They could have, at the very least, called him to let him know what was going on.
