Been a customer under T-Mobile Flex Pay Plan(FPP)since 2009, My Nexus1 stopped working after paying my monthly bill of $158, now using a $20 phone that does not require a data plan.

Received a text from T-Mobile that I'm approved to switch to a Regular Plan, and I will receive more discounts. So I called and upgraded, the rep told me that my plan did not change, and I still had unlimited(UNL)(Talk/Text/Web/Data). But if I wanted a new phone would have to sign a 2 year agmnt. I told her I will call T-Mobile back.

A week ago I could not access the web, so I called and the rep explained that I was now on the Post Pay Plan(PPP), I needed to add it. Seemed very strange, so I thought it was a mistake on my part.

Today, I called, to sign up for the Free HD7 Phone that they have online. She stated I do not qualify. I asked please explain to me the benefits of T-Mobile sending me the text to upgrade from FPP to PPP, when I was paying $158 for UNL. She stated that I'm now paying $99.99 for two phones with UNL Talk/Text/200 mb Web. I asked about the Data Plan, she said that's with NO DATA PLAN. For Data it's $20 for 2GB,$30 for 5 GB, UNL $45.

Now my monthly total will be over $170! I asked, please switch me back to FPP, she stated, I SEE YOU ARE NOT UNDER CONTRACT SO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SWITCH BACK WITHOUT A PROBLEM, she would need to transfer me to Customer Loyalty Department.

Now the Customer Loyalty Department. I explain again, the new REP's name is Nicole. She tells me that they cannot switch me back. I asked for a Supervisor. I knew something was up ; Supervisor Richard gets on the phone already defensive. Without explaining again, I tried a different approach! I said Richard please explain to me the BENEFITS, other than a DISCOUNT on handsets that i can buy off Craigslist of me switching from the FPP vs PPP I have now, his response, we can't switch you back! I said I didn't ask about switching back, so I asked the question again. He says the benefit would be not having to pay monthly worrying about the phone being shut off! I said, I've been on a month to month since 2009, do you think I would consider that a benefit. He stated, "Well that's the only benefit"!

I asked for the Coporate number, he said that they are not allowed to provide any infomation regarding T-Mobile locations. I said, I guess I have to Google it. He said have a nice day!
