T-Mobile has charged my husband and myself an "early termination" fee of $200 even though our contract had already expired. I did not have service with T-Mobile as of August, yet this month they took out 222.88 out of my bank account.

T-Mobile says that the amount I owe is because my husband bought a phone on discount or something, and that purchasing this phone Extended the contract for 2 more years. We bought this phone and paid full price, our contract should have expired in June.

Since I no longer had service with them I did not think they would access my account information (I had signed up with them though their easy pay method to avoid the $5 monthly fee).

I noticed this amount was pending as of Tuesday September 25th, but had disappeared on Wednesday September 26th. I went to the bank and they closed the bank account, but left enough money to cover a check I had written out before.

T-Mobile got the money out of my account anyway, even though they had no right to access my account. If my account was terminated why do they still have access to my account? I went online to change their "easy pay" system but could not because my account was Closed.

I have called my bank because their brilliant plan not only did not work, but my check was not covered.

I have called T-Mobile, but they did not acknowledge it was wrong of them to access my account information even though our relationship was terminated. I was informed there were no Supervisors available at the time. T-Mobile insists our contract was still valid for another year. They are going to try to refund the money, but it depends on approval.
