T-Mobile I bought a mobile hot spot on Jan 2 and was assured that I could return it within 14 days and just pay the restocking fee if it didn't work. The device didn't work at my home or work, in fact it didnt work in other t-mobile stores. Nationwide

The are a terrible company. I bought a mobile hot spot on Jan 2 and was assured that I could return it within 14 days and just pay the restocking fee if it didn't work. The device didn't work at my home or work, in fact it didnt work in other t-mobile stores. I took it back to the store within 4 days, they tried some things to make it work better, I tried again, so I returned the hot spot in another 5 days, Jan 11 was the final return date. I Paid the restocking fee and Cancelled the account.

I started receiving bills from the company for the monthly charges, I called the company several times and was flat out lied to. The customer rep said that there was a lot of phone calls that had to be paid for. When I explained it was a hot spot and you cant make phone calls with it, she gave me another answer about txt messages, or other charges I incurred then hung up on me, I called again and after getting transferred around to different departments, finally someone agreed and said the charges would be removed and this was taken care of.

foward another 6 weeks and I am getting calls from collection agencies and when I call T-mobile they say this charge is still on my account and since they turned it over to the collection agency, customer service cant remove it. But they do say I shouldn't have been charged but T-mobile computer system doesn't allow them to remove the charge. So they are sending this problem to the "off-line" team. but there is nothing they can do.

Stay away from this company !! I searched on the internet and apparently lots of people are having this issue. They are basically telling me that even though its a mistake on their part I should pay it to avoid the collection agency placing this on my credit report.
