Taylor Morrison Homes Poor quality homes Lake Mary Florida

- Multiple times used defective products to build house including a broken frame. Supervisor is rarely present and laborers don't care.

- Even after roof and windows were done, there were water leaks everytime it rained and there were puddles of waters on the incmplete wooden floor. Even after fixing all leaks, laborers always left windows open and had water damage everytime it rained only because of negligence.

- Contractor wouldn't even know until we visited and brought these to their attention on multiple ocassions. Two days ago, cabinets were installed but not top granite and it rained. Top drawers were filled with water and entire cabinets were soaked.

- There was a leak after finishing dry wall and they still don't have a clue where it came from. Now they have covered it up, finished the floor so even if there is a leak we wouldn't know for a while and warranty would be expired by then

- They kept failing county inspections at every stage. Their excuse was that county inspectors are very strict. If they are working in this county, shouldn't they know rules? 

- Closing is delayed for more than 2 months of expected date (It is still under construction, and I don't know what would be the ultimate delay). There are weeks at a time when no work is done. After repeated requests they kept reassuring that they would work fast in the next stage and again there would be days when nothing or minimal work was done 

- With delay they just kept saying that they want to make sure we get quality home. However neither we are getting a quality home nor in time.

- We requested a few minor additions before dry wall work and about leveling the ground which they promised they would do and didn't do.

- They are planning to build 75 houses and have already built more than 20 and there are many other neighbors who are not happy with them. They already changed supervisors twice for my house and no one has ownership of the house. 

- Repeatedly requested to talk to supervisor from the company and sales person kept referring us to builders who just gave lame excuses and no signs of improvement in builiding process or attitude
