TAYLOR MORRISON Told me I was preapproved to buy a new home with upgrades, took my ernest money and costs for upgrades now 20 days before it was to close they tell me I dont Qualify and dont get my $17000 back. Scottsdale, Arizona

Looked at homes in one of the new communities in Goodyear, I was told I was pre qualified for a home upto $240000 , I found one for 209000 I liked. they told me it was a go with the subbmited information and go ahead and pick out the upgrades. I went to the upgrade shop and picked out 30000 in upgrades and had to pay out of pocket for 12000 worth of upgrades, and a 5000 for ernest money. So they have a little over 17000.

Home was to close on July 26th, they started asking for more paperwork being I am selfemployed and kept saying no problem you will get it, well 1 week ago they said they could do anything and I cant get any of my money back from my deposits. So I eat 17000 when they told me I was prequalified.

They said they would try one more of there lenders and they informed me right off the bat that I wouldnt make it, and he had not a thing to gain. So taylor Morrison has ther own lending company and make it sound all good for people and take there hard earned money and screw them over like this, I am a self employeed father of 4, And these dirtbags took my familys dream house and screwed it up and stole my money, Im sure Im not the first person that they did this too, Everytime I signed papers they gave me just the copies of the signature papes, not the complete contract.
