here is how they get you -
i) they buy up used toll-free numbers so they get calls from previous customers of that business
ii) they give you a missed call from tollfree number and hangup. when you call back, you get the voice prompter asking you to press something or say yes

Once you do that you are automatically enrolled for their $9.99 locator service every month. i didnt realize this until one year after they have been charging me. here is the craziest part- this is their business and they operate legally from USA. Everyone who is a victim knows what they are doing but they are still atlarge. there are cases against them in all states of US but they still continue to ripoff people. they have numerous company names registered so if one goes down, they register another name and do the same thing. about time the owner of the business is put under criminal investigation
