I enrolled in a Learning Annex class entitled "Improve Your Eyesight-Without Glasses, Contact Lens or Surgery!" I attended the class. During the class, the professor, Gloria Ginn, passed out a flyer entitled "Improve Your Eyesight Quickly In This 4-Day Super Sight Mountain Retreat." She advised that if anyone wanted to register to come see her. I registered for the the class to be held in Idyllwild, California and then handed Ms. Ginn a check for $965.00.
I made arrangements to stay in Idyllwild. I drove up there to check into the class, but I was told that the class had been canceled.
I called Gloria Ginn. Ms. Ginn did not respond. I called the Learning Annex. The Learning Annex told me to send an email to customer service. After two lengthy emails I received no response. It is kind of crazy that this lady put herself out as an agent for the Learning Annex when she taught the class. I thought it was a learning Annex class, but the Learning Annex told me over the phone that while the original class was a Learning Annex class, the second class was not. Where do they get these people? Can't they stop them from ripping off their students? Now this teacher has skipped town with my money and the Learning Annex hasn't helped. All I want is to take the class that I paid for.

When I was able to get the right person, they were very helpful in locating the professor who is offering the class later in January. It looks like I will get to take the class after all, which is what I wanted in the first place. Thank you Learning Annex!

THIS STUDENT DID NOT PURCHASE THIS WORKSHOP FROM THE LEARNING ANNEX, BUT WE CAN HELP RESOLVE THIS ISSUE!
AUTHOR: Jerome - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, December 20, 2007
The Learning Annex GUARANTEES all of its classes, but this student did NOT purchase this workshop from The Learning Annex. We have been in business for over 28 years teaching our students how to better themselves and we want only satisfied learners.
We would like to help this student resolve this issue with the instructor. In fact, we have spoken with the instructor, and she has told us that she would like to resolve this issue immediately. Unfortunately, we are unable to identify this student based on the information provided in his or her post. We urge the student to contact Jerome at prod@learningannex.com so that we can help.
If we are not able to help this student resolve this issue with the instructor to the student's satisfaction, The Learning Annex will reimburse the student in full because, although this was not a Learning Annex class, and we were not aware of it, the student found out about the workshop through a Learning Annex class.
