Don't buy anything from Think Tek

My 10 year old son saved $200 by doing odd jobs for people all summer in order to buy an electric scooter. We looked at several over the internet and unfortunately he decided on purchasing the Silver Bomober by Think Tek.

First of all, it took 6 weeks to arrive. Then the engine started smoking & quit working 5 days after arrival (I had just sent in the warranty card). I called Think Tek's customer service number and they were very pleasant and said they would send out a new scooter (no need to return the old one). I waited another 4 weeks since the first one took so long to arrive. After nothing showed up, I called the customer service number again and just get a recording saying to leave a message, but when you try athe mailbox is full. I tried returning it to the internet company we bought it from, but they need returns within 30 days. We spent more time than that just wating for it to arrive.

I feel like we really got ripped and my son is out all his hard earned cash. Don't ever buy anything from Think Tek!
