Tidewater Motor Credit Horrendous Accounting Chesapeake, Virgina

Like a few other posters, My husband and I went through a BK and we were surrendering both our cars due to severe maintenance issues. Shortly after filing we got letters from Tidewater saying we were approved. We called and went to our local dealership. We made our first payment no issues. Shortly after that my husband got into an accident and totalled the car. Not only had I made 1 payment for the following due date my insurance company sent them a payment for the value of the car which had me overpay my payment by over 13k. This month I got 2 calls, three letters stating I was past due and eneded to pay. They refuse to acknowledge that the 13k payment made 2 days before my due date is a payment for that due date.  They have hiddeous accounting and thankfully after their mandetory GAP insurnace pays will never get another penny for me. Avoid this company at all costs.
