I had an account with Tmobile for 3.5 years with no problems. When I moved from CA to GA their service coverage was horrible and dropped my calls continuously. I tried to cancel my contract due to their inability to provide the service they were charging me for. No go. According to them I was in a good call zone although you could look at every one of my statements and see the numerous dropped calls. I waited until my contract period was over for both my husband's and my accounts and switched to Verizon. They sent my account to collections for the early termination fees. After disputing with the collection agency they removed one but still state the other applies. I called Tmobile on 8/17 and spoke with someone in the Financial Care Dept who stated the other ETF was reversed also, but they did not forward the information to the collection agency. Now I am going back and forth between the collection agency and Tmobile, each of whom is stating the information I need is coming from the other party. Noone will provide any information to me in which to prove this debt is valid or correct! My rights have completely been violated under the FCRA and someone should do something about these people being able to do whatever they want, whenever they want. It's absurd that noone from Tmobile can provide details of my account-they say I have to get the information from the collection agency-who then states they will dispute the debt with Tmobile. When Tmobile comes back and says it's valid they send me back to the collection agency. To date I've received NO documents proving this debt is valid, just their "say so". Geez, from what I remember there must first be a bill in writing that states an amount is due before someone can try to collect! My advice-stear clear of Tmobile, their unethical business practices will leave you frustrated! At least Verizon provides the service they charge me for, RECEPTION.... even if it costs a little more the guarantee of working service that I am paying for is worth it!
