This company is indicating that they are providing information from what currently appears on all three credit agency reports. (Experian, Transunion and Equifax). They charge $14.95 a month to provide this service to you to allow access to your scores and/or reports daily.
I found this is not true. I contacted Equifax today questioning them why my credit score did not go up since I had just paid eleven (11) accounts in full. They indicated that truecredit did not have an accurate score and that I would have to purchase their program to see the correct rating. Of course I did, and the score was 36 points above that which truecredit is currently showing. I am not sure what type of partnership exists with these credit agencies, but it is sure a ripoff to indicate that you are providing 3 credit report and scores from the source.
I then called Experian to see if I could get an online report of my current score from them. I filled out the information the site indicated that I could not access the online site for my protection, indicating that I had answered a question incorrectly. I contacted them and they said I am sorry you cannot get your information online.
I then asked if I could purchase a copy and of course it will take 10 business days to arrive at $6.00. Knowing that the score will change even before I get a chance to look at the one being sent. I am truly perplexed as how these companies can get away with requring you to purchase additional score/reports when you should already have access to the current information.

You are right on the money.... I just found out the same after paying True Credit for four years. My score from Transunion was over 80 points higher than True Credit. I was so upset.
I then decided to call the others, 3 in 1 with all scores, and found out that they all do this.. They compile their own scores based on your credit report not what the Bureaus have.
They will actually tell you this if you call them...I have paid this company for years while I had a company helping to clear up some things on my credit report....I wish I knew how to get my money back based on the fact of services not rendered. This was the main reason I stayed with them was to watch what was happening on a daily basis to my credit...
I don't work with any of these companys, have no relatives working there. I would have never known this if an agent at Transunion had not disclosed this after I couldn't figure out why the other bureaus were moving up a bit but theirs kept going down....I paid 9.00 to Transunion and was able to call the next day to get my score, I was stunned at the difference..
All you have to do is call these places and insist they tell you how they come up with these scores.
You were right on Veronica.
I wrote about this on Rip Off yesterday as soon as I found out....
