Don’t waste your time, Uber exploits its drivers. Bonuses are a waste, you make less than minimum wage, and Uber discriminates and will stop pairing you with passengers. Weekend bonuses used to be 30 trips but uber decided to move the finish line and change the bonus to 35 trips. This is pretty much the entire platform of uber.

If you arrive in a surge area, they remove it. If you get close to finishing a bonus, uber takes you outside if the city. It is the quintessential carrot in front of your nose. To hell with this app. They gouge your earnings and drop your rating at whatever the cost. They cheat drivers out of their money and bonuses because uber needs the money more than drivers. You will waste time and spend your money in gas and maintenance.

Instead of callin it ride share it should be call free rides since uber collects all of the profit and takes what little uber drivers have; shame. After writing a poor review uber lowered my rating out of retaliation. Uber stops pairing you with passengers and advises you to drive to different cities out of your own pocket. I tried driving for 8 hours and made less than 60 bucks. After receiving multiple 5 star trips uber still continues to lower my rating.

Uber Scam/ Retaliation /

Uber shutdown my account claiming there was fraud slant activity. Instead they provided this statement, "We're sorry to hear about the trouble regarding your account status We understand your concerns and rest assured that we are currently looking into this. In a recent account audit, we detected that the identity verification photos you are submitting appear to be fraudulent.

The verification photo you are submitting appears to be a photo of an existing photo of yourself, instead of a live selfie photo taken at the time we ask you to verify your identity within the app. Randomized identity verification is used to help prevent account sharing. For safety reasons, and as outlined in Uber’s Community Guidelines and in your partner agreement, you are the only person who can accept trip requests on your account.

Due to safety issues regarding account sharing, we have deactivated your account. We understand that this news can be upsetting. While our decision is final, we're always here to answer any questions. Again, we're truly sorry to hear about the trouble. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.” Basically what they’re doing is passively harassing drivers in order to cut into their driving time and quests so they can collect on the money that drivers already earn.

This is how they harass and retaliate against drivers by making false claims whereby forcing you to drive to uber green lights to reactivate your account. After the ceo Travis was dismissed the non-transparent company replaces him with Dara Khosrowshahi and pretends that the business practices have change when they actually get worse. The federal trade commission is too incompetent to do anything about it. The Uber driver app is a scam. You have been warned!
