this company has misrepresented themselves as a debt solution company....my debts were never ever paid, I still had the collectors calling me for the payments and I ended up in foreclosure. I notified this company that I did not want anymore money taken out of my account but they continued to take it out. On top of all of this the agreement was a certain amount per month. they were taking money out of my account every 2 weeks which was making my checking account overdrawn.

Upon speaking to one of the managers there she was very rude and said that it was up to client services whether or not I will receive a refund of all of my monies that they inadvertently took...this amount adds up to over $2,000.00. I will take this to court if I need to...if there is someone out there interested in this let me know....these people must be stopped. I went to them for help and they totally took advantage of the fact that we were desperate at the time facing foreclosure and losing everything we owned due to financial pit falls that were unfortunately out of our control....bad things happen to good people everday don't let this happen to you!

HERE IS WHAT RIP-OFF REPORT SUGGESTS YOU DO:

Go to your bank within 60 days of the charge, or as soon as you know about the charge, don't delay, and tell them that there has been fraudulent activity within your account. Explain that you wish to file a dispute, and demand that they assist you in accordance with Federal Regulation E.

According to the majority of victims interviewed by Rip-off Report, those who immediately called their banks to dispute the charges did not get very far. Many victims got the following responses from their banks: we could not do anything for you or you waited too long; it has been more than 60 days.

If the bank is says that you have waited too long, explain to them how you called their 800 number as soon as the charges were found, and were told by the bank that nothing could be done. Remind the bank that they failed to assist you properly at the 800 #, and instead, provided you with an inadequate explanation of your right to dispute. Tell the bank that it's their fault time has expired, and since they gave you the wrong info to begin with, they will just have to deal with it, take the loss and reverse the charges.

Tell them the truth; this was unauthorized and your account was NOT to be charged! Keep emphasizing how you never authorized anything! Direct them to the hundreds of victims reports that were filed on Rip-off Report.com. And if you're at the bank, walk them over to their computer and make them go to this site! If you are on the phone with them, tell them you will wait while they access this site! Either way, be persistent!

DO NOT TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!

Let them know nicely, that you were advised to Report them (the Bank) and this situation to the Banking Commission in your state. Since each state has a different name for the agency/controller over banks, find that name before you call or get to the bank so you can throw it in their face. The more knowledgeable you appear to be, the further you will get.

And just continue to demand the Federal Regulation E form! The bank CAN, MUST and WILL reverse the charge! But, you must be persistent; ask to speak to the supervisor or the area manager for all the branches in the state.

Let the bank personnel know you are meeting with the media later in the day, that you would much rather they do the right thing (as most other banks have) by looking at the complaints and immediately reversing the charge(s) to your account; no matter how long ago it was. Be sure to call the Media if necessary so you are telling the truth.

If you have to, be loud (but nice) in front of other customers. If you are just calling by phone, the above tactics should still work. The bank can easily fax or mail to you the Federal Regulation E dispute form.

CHARGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.

And good luck Let us know how you do!

When you Joined United Debt Solutions (Orange Park FL)

The first full 3 payments go to United Debt Solutions. Towards your fee for the service. The First 3 payments are owed even if you cancel during the first 3 months.

After that a portion of the money continues to come out until all of your fee's with United Debt Solutions are paid.

The rest of the money that is not taken out of your checking or savings account is for YOU to save and not use. To let it build up in your own account and be used towards a settlement offer United Debt Solutions arranges on your behalf.

United Debt Solutions does not say during your sign up process that we pay your creditor for you. United Debt Solutions arranges a settlement offer for you (at a lower price then what you owe). During this process you agree to be saving money every month to make a one time settlement offer.

United Debt Solutions records the calls explaining this. This is also explain to you in the First Financial Aid Package that was mail you you. Which also has the "script" as to what to tell your creditors when they call you.

Fax is not accepted for cancellation. A cancellation form is mail to you. Then you must fill out the form notarize it and mail it back in.

United Debt Solutions (Orange Park FL) is open from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Monday - Friday Eastern Time. You may also send in a fax including your name address (address that United Debt Solutions would have on file for you). clearly explain what has happen along with any documents that support your claim. The fax number is 904-276-3080.

There are a few things someone can do to get out of debt.

1) get a loan. Which is a bad Idea because your still paying everything off with interest and most people end up getting further in debt, Also by doing this you are taking unsecured debt and making it secure (i.e. placing your home as collateral)

2) filling bankruptcy. Which destroys your credit for a long time

3) Credit Counseling. Which also hurts your credit because it will show on your report that you are not able to control your on finances and needed a company to get you out of debt

4) Debt Negation. Which will show that you were behind in payments then you paid off the balance and do not owe anymore money to that collector

it is amazing how on TV the Credit Card companies show and suggest that you should use your card to go shopping and buy dinners, go on vacation and use the card for everything and anything. Then when you can't pay the bill they take you to court as if it is all your fault!

United Debt Solutions offers people that fall into this trap a way out. It's that simple. The best way to avoid any of this is in my opinion is

1. get your debt paid off. choose the plan you feel is best for you

2. cancel all of your credit card and keep only one that has the lowest interest rate.

3. If you get an offer on another credit card with a lower interest rate get that card and transfer your balance (if you have a balance) to that card. and cancel the card with the higher interest rate.

4. only charge on your card what you can afford to pay back.

5. only use the card for extreme purposes only. (dinner and shopping is not extreme cause)

6. Pay cash for everything you need. If you don't have enough cash at the time then you don't need it. Save your money until you can buy whatever it is.

Dear Lisa,

Upon reviewing your account, given the limited information you have provided via this website, we have concluded the following:

On or about October 25, 2005 we received your power of attorney. Since that time and the time when you requested cancellation of this program, we have had nine (9) insufficient funds from you. Your claim regarding 'my debts were never ever paid' is absolutely correct in that we do not pay any of your creditors and you signed our contract stating that you were aware of this fact and that each month you were to be placing funds aside to settle with the creditors as each of the creditors settled their account with you. We have negotiated settlements on at least three (3) of your creditors and you refused each of the settlement offers. We would be happy to provide you with your signed agreement, which also precludes you from entitlement to refund based upon the numerous times your payments were not valid to our company, the work we did on your account and the contract you signed. Should you seek additional information, we would be happy to address your issues. Please call our company at (904) 276-3100 and ask to speak with Chris or Bonnie.
