I can't believe this is happening!! United Laser Clinics scammed me a several other clients out of thousands of dollars by having us sign and prepay for hair removal services. Then they close their locations and don't even tell you. They run off with your money and you get NOTHING! They did this with 3 locations in Illinois in the last few months. I am so upset because I spent so much money and didn't get what I was guaranteed. I tried calling their corporate office and the owner whose name is Michelle Droulos will not take any calls. Her assistant Alana Echols, the robot who answers the phone and has a trained response for everything, is not helpful and offers no information other than to email Michelle. However, Michelle does not answer your emails. I finally received an email that stated she's sorry but there is nothing they can do for me. They will not refund me my money or honor their agreement because according to them they didn't break any laws. Can you imagine not knowing they closed their clinics until you drive all the way there (for me an hour) to see the place vacant? Michelle ran off with mine and all her client's money and she'll do the same again unless people are aware of this fraud/scam operation! Please do your research online about them before you buy anything.

Huh?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

What does a "world recession" have to do with NOTIFYING CUSTOMERS WHO PREPAID FOR SERVICES that the business is CLOSING and giving folks a prorated refund for services that have NOT been rendered?

This situation sure looks as a ripoff to me. I suggest that the author of the report check online for any bankruptcy filings this company may have done-that's what they SHOULD DO. Normally, when a reputable firm goes under, they file for bankruptcy and ALL CREDITORS are notified of the bankruptcy hearing date and location. ALL CREDITORS are allowed to address the court.

This doesn't appear to have happened.

GET A LIFE PEOPLE AND BE PATIENT!! WE ARE UNDER A WORLD RECESSION!!! DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT??????

AUTHOR: Ryan T. - (U.S.A.)

As a previous client of the Algonquin clinic, I was told about this website. Do you have anything better else to do than sit in front of your computer (very brave) and give yourself a nickname and degrade all the employees of ULC when you have never even met them?? What kind of person are you?? Why don't you give them more than 2 days to get back with you? YOU are not the only client they are dealing with!!! I was pleasantly refunded my package..Not my 4 treatments I had, but my entire package..(Face) and my wife as well. (Had 3 treatments.)

After I heard about this website, I let them know, and they already know about it and working with the ID's with their attorneys and yahoo....Doesn't look like anyone is getting refunded if there are reviews such as yourself. It looks like since you had so much time on your hands because you don't have a life rather than sit "brave" in front of your computer than more than likely you wont be refunded...Wrong thing to do in life is lose patience..Especially when the world is under a economic recession.."Stole money?" Why? Because they haven't returned YOUR call in the last 2 days??? .And the "excuses" of an economic recession?? You must have a 8-5 job at a fast food joint that doesn't have to worry what else is going on in the world.. Oh, and I am pretty hair free after my 4 sessions...Why weren't you smart enough to research their equipment if you think it was outdated? That is what I did (being a headhunter, and do a lot of research)..Their results were phenomenal. If everyone wants to degrade people in a negative way, why don't you at least show your name of who you are? That way, it will be easier for them to find out and have less people to refund..I am sure it is pretty easy to find a "KIMMY KAT"...GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!! You are going to have more to deal with later.Check the slander law meaning before you decide to write... Ryan
