United Legal Processing A company named United Legal Processing contacted me by cell phone last Wednesday telling me to call them back that I owe them money. I called back this Arnold guy, and he told me I owe money and that they have my Social Security Number, Bank number, address, Place of employement which they are calling also. I askied what it was for and he tells me that I owe them $300. New York New York

hackers have stolen personal info from PayDay loan websites and are calling people making illegal threats of arrest etc.. WHICH IS ILLEGAL FOR EVEN A LEGIT COLLECTION ATTEMPT

do not send them any money period - you do not owe them any money and they KNOW IT.

I would suggest that you contact your local law enforcement agency. This sounds like if nothing else harrassment. The fact that these people have your personal information is seriously scary. File a police report, contact your cellular carrier to find out what you can do regarding harrassing, threatening calls like this. Best of luck to you!

I recieved another call on 3/04/2009 from a Bob White who left a message that they were picking me up tomorrow 3/06/2009 if I did not call him back. He says he has my social security number and that I owe money to some company called Cash Now. I'm told him that I do not owe anything and all he keeps saying the same thing over and over again that he has my social securtiy number and my bank account number. As of today 3/05/2009 I recieved another call from this Bob White, this time I picked up the phone and he started on me about this money again that I owe. I again told him I do not know what you are talking about. He threatened that he would come to my work. I asked him like I asked before that he needs to show me some paperwork from the company telling me what I owe and who it is from. I asked why arent' they calling me. I'm telling you this is crazy and it's making me crazy. After I hung up on him he called me back about 4 times since then but didn't leave me a message. Please I really would like someone else to let me know what I can do. All this can't be true because I don't owe anyone this money. How can they threaten people like this. It's not right. There is enough going on in this economy I would really like to turn these people in, but need help of what I can do.
