In the year 2008 I requested Verizon to provide me with Internet and TV via FIOS, provided they could maintain my copper telephone line. As the accepted, they installed my services keeping my copper line.

During the period between 2009 and now FIOS offered me at numerous occasions big discounts to switch my copper line to fiber optic line. I never gave them permission.

I recall during Sandy that my copper line was still in tact.

Now I found my copper line is no longer available. Fios stated today 6/27/2016 that they even can not provide me with copper line service any more.

That means they were cheating me for at least three or four years, telling me lies.

 

This is not an acceptable practice and is illegal.

Verizon Fios Verizon is making is making unrequested changes to my account that I did not make. There is a new charge for a new feature that will reoccur every month and there is a fee for requesting a change. The only rebuttle is to wait on the phone, half hour to an hour to talk to someone who barely speaks english and is impossible to understand. This has happened to me over and over with Verizon. They are guilty of the same thing that Wells Fargo just go caught doing. They need to be regulated by an outside entity. How else can we stop them? Newport News Nationwide
