As with many others, I got conned into putting a down payment on a timeshare at the Villa Del Palmar Villa Group in Cabo. Then in spite of as per Mexican law handing in my cancellation letter in person to the timeshare office within the 5 day time limit, they are denying refunding of my down payment.
The contract we are required to sign clearly states that refunds are not allowed, contrary to Mexican law. The next step is filing with the Mexican agency in charge of this as per law. I was emailed by the Universal Vacation Club in August that my refund was imminent.
Not the case. I called them again in mid November. I received a call on November 27 that my Visa would be refunded within a day or two. Again, that was not the case.

Stay away from these obvious crooks. They are worse than even most timeshare boiler offices.
