Walmart Connect Problems cancelling! ripoff Nationwide

I had walmart connect for about 4yrs & was very happy with it. No problems but I found a good deal on DSL (which is much faster)for only $5.00 more a month, so I switched.

I called 1-888-855-0942 (which I found on my bank statement) to walmart connect & I waited at least 45 minutes since they are very busy. When someone came on the line he was very polite but I had trouble understanding him since he didn't speak English very well. He was very pushy for me to keep the service & even offered me a free month which was nice of him & he was only doing his job but as I kept telling him. No thank you cancel my service please. I don't want it, I have DSL now for only $5.00 more a month. Finally he agreed to cancel & I said thankyou have a good day & we hung up. He said I will receive mail about Our conversation.

Then I received a letter in the mail thanking me for keeping my service!! Hmm, not sure how that happen! Soo, I called again & waited at least 45 minutes again because they are very busy. Which yes I do understand that.

When someone came on the line I had a hard time understanding the man but he was very polite. I explained the situation & he asked for my confirmaion # but I didn't have one. He said I was supposed to get one. He apologized & took care of the problem & cancelled it. I hate that it took so much trouble to cancel it but happy it was finally dealt with & at least they were polite the whole time. So, it wasn't all bad. I thought maybe it was just a lack of communication & language problems & I need to be more forcefull in cancelling, plus ask for a confirmation #.
